Fort Bend County is one of the fastest-growing counties in the United States and a major part of the Griffin Fence service area. We serve Sugar Land, Missouri City, Richmond, Stafford, Fresno, and the First Colony master-planned community. Fort Bend County requires permits for fences over 6 feet — a fact that matters to homeowners in First Colony and other Fort Bend HOA communities where 6-foot cedar is the standard.

Yes. Permit requirements vary significantly across the Houston metro. City of Houston: residential fences under 8 feet generally no permit required (but HOA approval often is).
