Where does Griffin Fence serve in the Houston metro? Griffin Fence serves Houston and 24 surrounding cities across a 60-mile radius from our Brittmoore Road base in northwest Houston, TX. Our service area includes all of Harris County, Fort Bend County, Montgomery County, and portions of Waller County, Brazoria County, Galveston County, and Chambers County.

Why Griffin Fence's Service Area Coverage Matters

We built our first fence in Harris County in 1979 and have steadily expanded our service area as the Houston metro has grown — today our crews cover a 60-mile radius from our Brittmoore Road location at 6307 Brittmoore Rd, Houston, TX 77041. That expansion was not arbitrary: it followed the growth of master-planned communities along the 99 Grand Parkway corridor, the development of new residential areas in Fort Bend and Montgomery Counties, and the long-standing industrial and agricultural needs of Waller County.

For a fence company, local service area coverage is more than a map boundary. Houston traffic means that a crew based in northwest Houston can realistically reach Katy, Cypress, Spring, The Woodlands, and the inner loop all in a reasonable drive — but not in the same morning. Griffin Fence routes its crews by area each week to minimize travel time and maximize time on your project. Material staging at our Brittmoore Road facility means materials are pre-loaded before the crew leaves — no day-of supply runs that delay your fence installation Houston, TX.

Service Coverage by County

Harris County

Harris County is Griffin Fence's home territory. We serve all of the City of Houston, TX, plus Harris County's unincorporated areas including Cypress, Spring, Kingwood, and the Memorial Villages. Most of our residential, commercial, and industrial fence work in the county involves Houston city-limit properties or the dense unincorporated neighborhoods along the Beltway 8 ring and Highway 290 corridor.

Fort Bend County

Fort Bend County is one of the fastest-growing counties in the United States and a major part of the Griffin Fence service area. We serve Sugar Land, Missouri City, Richmond, Stafford, Fresno, and the First Colony master-planned community. Fort Bend County requires permits for fences over 6 feet — a fact that matters to homeowners in First Colony and other Fort Bend HOA communities where 6-foot cedar is the standard.

Montgomery County

Montgomery County includes The Woodlands, Conroe, Spring (the Montgomery County portion), and Tomball. The Woodlands Township has its own deed restriction requirements that govern fence material, style, and height — Griffin Fence knows the Township rules and ensures installations comply before materials are ordered.

Waller County

Waller County sits northwest of Harris County and includes the city of Waller and surrounding rural and semi-rural properties. Griffin Fence serves Waller County for both residential cedar and chain link projects and agricultural and ranch fencing. Waller County's growth as new residential developments push out from the Katy and Cypress areas is bringing more HOA-governed neighborhoods into our service area.

Brazoria and Galveston Counties

Pearland and League City are the primary population centers we serve in Brazoria and Galveston Counties respectively. Pearland has grown rapidly over the past two decades and has a high concentration of HOA-governed master-planned subdivisions. League City sits between Houston and Galveston and includes both older established neighborhoods and newer master-planned areas along Highway 96.

Chambers County

Baytown is Griffin Fence's primary Chambers County / east Harris County service city. Baytown homeowners on the east side of the Houston metro have distinct fencing needs — proximity to the ship channel means some properties have commercial and industrial fence needs alongside residential, and the coastal influence means salt air corrosion is a factor in material selection.

Do We Serve Your Neighborhood?

Houston is one of the largest metro areas in the country by land area, and some neighborhoods and communities near the edge of our service radius may require a quick call to confirm. If you do not see your city above, call 713-937-6611 during business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM) and ask. We have completed projects in many areas beyond the list above and can often accommodate locations within a reasonable distance of the Brittmoore Road corridor.

Service Area FAQs

Do you serve areas outside Houston proper?

Yes. Griffin Fence serves 24+ cities across the Houston metro, including suburbs in Fort Bend County (Sugar Land, Missouri City, Richmond, Stafford, Fresno), Montgomery County (The Woodlands, Conroe, Tomball), Brazoria County (Pearland), Galveston County (League City), and Waller County (Waller). We also serve communities within the City of Houston limits across all neighborhoods from the inner loop through the outer suburbs.

What is Griffin Fence's service radius?

Our crews work within approximately a 60-mile radius from our facility at 6307 Brittmoore Rd in northwest Houston, TX. That covers the vast majority of the Houston metro area. Projects in Conroe and The Woodlands to the north, League City and Pearland to the south, Katy and Waller to the west, and Baytown to the east all fall within our regular service area. For projects beyond this radius, call 713-937-6611 to discuss.

Houston Note: Houston’s gumbo clay soil and hurricane wind exposure require deeper post footings and galvanized hardware than national minimums.

Do you charge extra for far-away cities in the service area?

Most cities within our standard service area do not carry a separate travel surcharge. Pricing is based on project scope: materials, linear footage, height, gates, and soil conditions. For projects at the far edge of our service area, we may discuss whether a travel adjustment applies — we will be transparent about this during the free estimate. Call 713-937-6611 to confirm service to your address.

Do different cities have different permit requirements?

Yes. Permit requirements vary significantly across the Houston metro. City of Houston: residential fences under 8 feet generally no permit required (but HOA approval often is). Fort Bend County: permit required for fences over 6 feet. Montgomery County: check with the county or city (Conroe has its own rules; The Woodlands has Township deed restrictions). Harris County unincorporated: commercial projects require permits; residential typically does not. Griffin Fence reviews permit requirements for every project location during the estimate process.
